I've signed on to XAMPP's forum but I cannot find my way around it. Today, for no apparent reason, when I activate it, the Apache Web Server stops automatically after two seconds activation. I've been using XAMPP for Mac for a year without problems. When I type 'localhost' in the web browser, the screen returns "It works!" XAMPP for Mac Stops Running Apache Web Server. I did this process manually with nf file, for the Port and nf local host. I have followed directions found on youtube and elswhere to update the Port #.
Just downloaded the XAMPP version 7.0.13 / PHP 7.0.13 to my mac (running OS X Yosemite). I'm having trouble running the Apache Web Server.
